Who is our Biblical Studies major designed for?

  • Anyone desiring to increase their knowledge of the Bible,
  • Anyone desiring to grow closer to the Lord,
  • Anyone desiring to teach the Bible or lead a Bible Study group,
  • Anyone desiring to communicate the Bible through written word, multimedia presentations, or online.

What Will A Biblical Studies Graduate Be Equipped To Do?

  • Will know how to prepare and teach a Bible lesson,
  • Will have a greater knowledge of the Bible, Christian theology and principles,
  • Will be well versed in essential truths of Christianity,
  • Will know the attributes, attitudes, and actions of a maturing Christian.

Associate of Biblical Studies

Students are required to complete the minimum number of courses indicated in each category listed in their program. Each Associate degree program requires a total of 32 courses (64 credits).


Bachelor of Biblical Studies - 4 Year Degree

Students are required to complete the minimum number of courses indicated in each category listed in their program. Each Bachelor program requires a total of 64 courses (128 credits).

Courses must be ordered from the current “order form”. All undergraduate courses offer two credits. Unless instructed otherwise, students may choose their own course sequence.

Pre-requisite: High School Diploma or GED


Master of Biblical Studies – 2 Year Degree

Students must complete the minimum number of courses indicated in each category. Each Master degree program requires ten courses (30 credits), plus a Thesis (6 credits) for a total of 36 credits.

ADDITIONAL DEGREE REQUIREMENTS

Masters Thesis

Minimum of 75 typewritten pages; a popular writing style is permitted for the thesis.

(All graduate courses offer three credits.)

Pre-requisite: Bachelor Degree


Doctor of Ministry in Biblical Studies – 3 Year Degree

Students must complete the minimum number of courses indicated in each category. Each Doctoral degree program requires twelve courses (36 credits), plus a Dissertation (9 credits) for a total of 45 credits. (All graduate courses offer three credits.)

Pre-requisite: Master Degree

ADDITIONAL DEGREE REQUIREMENT

Doctoral Dissertation

Minimum of 150 typewritten pages; a popular writing style is permitted for the dissertation.
